Pentru astăzi, o nouă melodie pentru Crăciun, una mai veselă, dar mult mai veche. Este cântată de Gayla Peevey și a apărut în 1953 când aceasta avea doar 10 ani.

De astăzi și până de Crăciun voi posta zilnic câte o melodie de sezon (nu neapărat colind și sigur nu Fuego/Hrușcă). Poate așa voi simți și eu mai repede că vine Crăciunul…

Încep astăzi cu Christmas Shoes, soundtrack-ul de la filmul cu același nume din 2003, la care sper să mă uit cât de curând.

De-abia am descoperit melodia și nu mă mai satur de ea, mi-a mers direct la suflet, o iubesc. Vă avertizez însă că este foarte tristă.

Prima dată când am ascultat melodia, nu mi-a plăcut deloc. Apoi am vizionat videoclipul, care m-a amuzat teribil. Și acum… îmi place la nebunie. Îmi vine să dansez de fiecare dată când o ascult.

Am învăţat multe de la sora mea în copilărie, dar în primul rând m-am “molipsit” de pasiunea ei pentru muzică. Am ascultat alături de ea muzică bună, aşa cum numai atunci se făcea. Avea o mulţime de casete – îmi amintesc de cele cu Michael Jackson, La Toya şi Janet Jackson, cu cântăreţi italieni, Guns N’Roses, Aerosmith, Bryan Adams.

Tot alături de ea mă uităm şi la emisiunea Ambrei. Nu mă dădeam în vânt după ea, sinceră să fiu, eram doar un copil, voiam să mă uit la desene animate, nu la adolescenţi italieni care dansau şi cântau pe scenă. Dar mi-au rămas întipărite toate melodiile, nu degeaba le-am ascultat de zeci, chiar sute de ori. Şi acum, când ascult una din melodii, nu pot decât să mă gândesc cu nostalgie la acele vremuri, mai simple şi mult mai frumoase.
